The Ronen® Four-clawed Nut Optical Sorting Machine uses cameras to inspect the four-clawed nuts. It detects issues such as bent claws or uneven threads, and then distinguishes between good and bad nuts. When the nuts are poured into the machine, it will automatically sort and place them into boxes.

The Four-clawed Nut Optical Sorting Machine is designed to automatically identify and separate four-clawed nuts. The sorting machine classifies these nuts along with other components and categorizes them by size and type.
The Machine employs a custom-designed vibrating bowl-type feeder. This feeder is equipped with a guiding track and tools, which can always keep each nut in the correct position. Usually, the square base is placed flat with the claws facing upwards, allowing the camera system to achieve reliable imaging.
The Four-clawed Nut Optical Sorting Machine uses high-resolution cameras to capture images of each nut. The software analyzes multiple features: the size of the square base, the presence and alignment of the four claws, the size of the thread holes, and the overall structural integrity. The analysis process is completed within a few milliseconds as the nut passes beneath the camera.
