After the Ronen® Auto Tapping Machine is set up, it can start running automatically. Just load the parts and input the tapping specifications, and the machine will be activated. It can process metal components such as brackets or panels, and each time it taps out the threads, they are very uniform – a feature that manufacturers appreciate for maintaining consistent quality in their production lines.
The Auto Tapping Machine is an automated equipment specifically designed for machining internal threads in the holes of various parts. Fix the parts properly, set the depth and speed of threading, and the machine will automatically thread the parts and then retract automatically.
The machine can automatically cut internal threads (thread tapping) into the pre-drilled holes. It is responsible for inserting the tap into the hole, rotating the tap to cut the threads, automatically reversing for retraction, and ejecting the finished product. Compared with manual tapping, this reduces manual operations, increases speed, and ensures the consistency of the processing.
The Auto Tapping Machine is driven by an electric motor, which rotates the main shaft. The gearbox or drive system converts the motor speed into the required torque and rotational speed for effective tapping. The main shaft moves axially (up and down), sending the tap into the hole and retracting it after tapping.
The Auto Tapping Machine uses a feed mechanism to advance the tap. Common feed mechanisms include lead screw drive that is synchronized with the spindle speed or pneumatic/hydraulic cylinders that provide downward force. Servo motor feed allows for precise programmable control of the feed speed and depth.
