Product Description

The Cold Forging 5-Station Bolt Former Machine transforms metal wire into bolt blanks through five consecutive cold extrusion stations. What was produced was a bolt blank with the entire head and shank attached. This can then be used for subsequent threading operations.

Product details

The five stations of the Bolt Former Machine have clearly defined tasks: Station 1 cuts the wire and presses out small protrusions (the initial shape of the head); Station 2 pre-stresses the head to make the shape clearer; Station 3 processes the rod part (such as pressing out reduction or steps); Station 4 finely presses the details of the head; Station 5 finalizes the shaping of the rod part and the head. The entire process does not require heating; it is carried out directly in a cold state.

The Machine can shape the metal wire without the need for heating. The automated equipment first pulls out the metal wire, cuts it into specific lengths as needed, and then transports it to five different processing stations in sequence. Each station performs specific operations, such as shaping the head or inserting the rod part, ultimately forming the bolt.

The maintenance focus of the Cold Forging 5-Station Bolt Former Machine lies in the conveying mechanism and the molds. The mechanism for moving the bolt blanks between stations needs to be kept precise, and the wear condition of the forging molds must be checked to ensure that the bolts meet the specifications.

Product Features

The feature of the Cold Forging 5-Station Bolt Former Machine is that it has comprehensive station functions and is highly adaptable to different materials. The 1-2 position is for the head of the pipe, and the 3-5 position is for the body of the pipe. It can handle bolts ranging from simple round heads to those with steps. The pressure applied to each workstation can be adjusted independently, and it will not cause the wire to crack.
