The Automatic Hex Nut Making Machine produced by Ronen® can start running automatically once it is set up. It simply cuts the metal rods to the required size and then turns them into hexagonal nuts. Factories that produce hexagonal nuts in large quantities usually choose to purchase this machine.
Insert the metal wire into the Automatic Hex Nut Making Machine, cut it into small sections of a fixed length, then squeeze it through the mold to shape the small sections into hexagonal nut blanks. Next, drill a hole in the middle, and finally thread the internal screw.
The Automatic Hex Nut Making Machine is a continuous production line that rolls steel wire into finished hexagonal nuts. It includes wire feeding, straightening, cutting the blank, cold forming the hexagon shape, punching the center hole, and often adding chamfers. This automated process eliminates the need for manual transfer between individual machines at each step, thus simplifying the production process.
The core of the Nut Making Machine is the cold heading process. The cut wire blanks are sent to multiple working stations for heading. The powerful punch gradually presses the steel into the forming mold, heading the metal, forming the characteristic hexagonal outline, and creating the initial nut blank. This process is carried out at room temperature.
Most Automatic Hex Nut Making Machines are equipped with a chamfering station. This step cuts a slight slope (chamfer) on one or both sides of the hole for the nut. The chamfer simplifies the thread engagement during tapping and improves the appearance and safety of the nut by removing sharp edges.

The selling point of the Automatic Hex Nut Making Machine is its full automation. From the raw material input to the final product output, there is basically no need for human intervention, thus saving manpower. The size of the produced nuts is extremely uniform. Each side of the hexagonal shape is of the same length, and the depth of the threads is also consistent. They fit the bolts perfectly and prevent any looseness or tightness discrepancies during any tightening operation.
