The Flange Nut Forming Machine is a cold extrusion machine specifically designed for manufacturing flange nuts. It uses steel wire, cuts it into blanks, and then uses a series of molds and punches to perform cold forming on the nuts. This process forms an integrated flange-like gasket at the bottom of the nut, and automatically punches out the center hole without the need to heat the material.

The Flange Nut Forming Machine starts with a coil. The unwinding machine feeds the wire into the straightening mechanism to eliminate any bends. Then, the precision cutting machine cuts the straightened wire into blanks of a specific length. The volume of the blank is crucial because it must contain enough metal to form the hexagonal body of the nut and the wider flange part.

A key stage in the operation of the machine is the forming of the flange. The punch presses the blank into a mold cavity that is wider than the hexagonal section.
