Manufacturers using the Ronen® External and Internal Thread Cutting Machine can simultaneously process both external and internal threads. Just by using a simple control lever, you can switch between modes. It is suitable for metal rods and pipes, handling common sizes without the need for complicated settings.
The External and Internal Thread Cutting Machine has two main working parts. One is equipped with an external thread cutting tool, which can cut threads on the outer circle of the part; the other is equipped with an internal thread cutting tool, which can cut threads in the hole of the part.
The External and Internal Thread Cutting Machine can process both external and internal threads on the same platform. It completes the cutting of external threads by clamping the rotating tap on the workpiece; at the same time, or by screwing the tap into the pre-drilled hole in sequence, it realizes the cutting and forming of internal threads. This dual function replaces the need for separate machines for processing external and internal threads.
For the processing of internal threads, the External and Internal Thread Cutting Machine places a pre-drilled hole beneath the tapping spindle. It drives the rotating tap into the hole. The cutting edge of the tap removes the material during the advancement process, thereby forming an internal thread in the hole. Usually, coolant is used to lubricate and remove the chips.
Our machines can process a wide variety of workpieces. For external threads, it can clamp rods, studs or pipe ends. For internal threads, it can fix parts with pre-drilled holes, such as castings, plates or nut blanks. The fixture ensures that the parts remain stable under the action of the cutting force.

The tool system of the External and Internal Thread Cutting Machine is highly flexible. The external thread cutter and the internal thread cutter can be quickly replaced. During the cutting process, the force is evenly distributed, the surface of the thread is smooth, there will be no burrs, and no further polishing is required. It has an automatic chip-discharging function. The cut-off iron shavings will automatically fall into the collection box and will not accumulate on the workbench.
